Recently, the Lego Group released its financial report for the first half of 2019, and its key data are as follows:

●In the first half of the year, operating income increased by 4% to DKK 18 billi.

● Operating profit was DKK 5 billion, down 16% year-on-year; net profit was DKK 7 billion, down 12% year-on-ye.

●Global retail sales increased by 5% year-on-year

According to the Lego Group, China is a strategic growth market for Le.

Lego will continue to invest and is expected to have more than 140 stores in 35 cities in China by the end of 2019; and will add more than 70 new stores outside China, including Lego's fifth flagship store, which will be located in Amsterdam, the Netherlan.
