From November 8th to 10th, the 2017 China Skills Competition-the 9th National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Vocational Skills Competition was held in Yangzhou Industrial Vocational and Technical College.
There were 57 teams and 171 players from 19 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.

The competition is divided into two occupations (types of work), industrial wastewater treatment workers and instrument maintenance workers.
The content of the competition is divided into two parts: the theoretical knowledge competition and the skill operation competition, involving the knowledge and skill requirements of the national occupational standard senior worker and above for the three chemical waste treatment workers, water treatment workers and chemical instrument maintenance workers.
After three days of fierce competition, 6 "National Technical Experts" and 30 "National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Technical Experts" were produced in this competition.
Luxi Group won the group second prize of two competitions respectively.
Wang Lin, an employee of Luxi Group Environmental Monitoring Center, won the fourth individual and the honorary title of "National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Technical Expert" in the industrial wastewater treatment competition.
Demonstrated a solid theoretical foundation and proficient operating skills.
This competition is a national level two competition, sponsored by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center, and the National Committee of China Energy, Chemistry and Geology Trade Union.
The theme is "Promoting the spirit of craftsmanship and fostering the culture of craftsmanship".
A platform for high-skilled talents to display their skills.
