LyondellBasell Publishes Sustainability Report

LyondellBasell recently released its 2021 Sustainability Report, which outlines the company's goals in helping to reduce plastic waste in the environment, combat climate change and support a prosperous society

Sustainability reports include: Pathways to meeting the company's greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals; plans to accelerate the recycling of plastics through mechanical recycling and advanced recycling technologies, and the use of renewable feedstocks; use sustainability criteria to assess the company's major New goals for suppliers; commitment to building a new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) culture, including setting more ambitious goals

LyondellBasell's interim chief executive Kenneth Lane said achieving goals for more circular, sustainable plastics and carbon reduction was critical to LyondellBasell's long-term success

In 2021, LyondellBasell has joined a number of collaborative platforms to continue to drive the company's sustainability strategy
