On September 2, Merck announced that the Merck Electronic Technology China Center and OLED material production base were completed and put into operation in Shanghai

Merck Electronic Technology China Center is located in the Merck Jinqiao Base in Pudong, Shanghai.

Kai Beckmann, Member of Merck's Executive Board and CEO of the Electronic Technology business, said: "The Center will provide new opportunities for newcomers by developing more innovative research based on new materials, developing local talent pools, and leveraging the core strengths of data and digital platforms.
