Milliken announces intent to acquire Borchers from The Jordan Company

Milliken, a global diversified manufacturer with more than half a century of materials science expertise, announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Borchers Group Limited ("Borchers"), a global specialty chemicals company

Headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, Borchers has a broad portfolio of coatings, inks and adhesives additives, including cobalt-free drying agents, dispersants, rheology modifiers, wetting agents, polymerization catalysts and tackifiers

Halsey Cook, President and CEO of Milliken & Company, said: "By acquiring a company that aligns with our values, I am excited to accelerate our commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Devlin Riley, Borchers President and CEO, said: "We are delighted to partner with Milliken to further invest in our business, build our global platform, and continue to provide customers with innovative and satisfying solutions

Erik Fagan, Partner at TJC, added: "Devlin and the Borchers team have delivered the company through a period of strong internal and acquisition growth
