Spartanburg, SC – Milliken & Company, a global leader in plastic additives and colorants, today announced plans to build a new state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing facility and knowledge center in Asia

The plant, which is expected to begin operations in the first quarter of 2021, enables the expansion of Milliken's chemical production site to support growing demand in Asia, including the fast-growing markets of India and Chi.

"Miliken has been committed to meeting the needs of our growing Asian mark.

The new facility will have full production capacity for some Milliken Plastics additive products, bringing sustainability and production benefits to the global plastics indust.

"Through this new manufacturing facility, we have established a strategic position to better serve our customers throughout Asia," said Zhaolin Zhou, vice president of Asia Pacific, Milliken Chemic.

The Singapore facility will be staffed with skilled staff, including R&D chemists, chemical engineers and technical suppo.
