(4) Application in pulping and papermaking wastewater
The discharge of pulping and papermaking wastewater is large, and the pollution load is serious.
The wastewater contains a large amount of sulfurized lignin, chlorinated lignin, lignosulfonate, alkalized lignin, cellulose and its degradation products, as well as organic sulfur compounds and organic chlorine.
Pollutants such as chemicals, acids, alkalis, and salts
.
According to statistics, China’s paper-making enterprises consume 50-200 tons of water per ton of finished paper, with a maximum of 300 tons.
In the treatment process of high-concentration, refractory bleaching wastewater, because of its complex composition and containing toxic substances that affect the activity of degrading bacteria, the use of biochemical treatment failed to achieve the expected goal
.
Therefore, the author has used cationic starch decolorizing flocculant CSDF to reduce the content of high-concentration, refractory bleaching wastewater, especially the content of toxic pollutants, so as to improve the effect of biochemical treatment in the subsequent treatment section
The author uses cationic starch decolorizing flocculant—CSDF to treat pulping bleaching wastewater, deinking wastewater and papermaking mixed wastewater.
The test results are shown in Table 3-61
.
From the data in the table, it can be seen that CSDF flocculant has a good treatment effect on pulping and bleaching wastewater, and can effectively reduce the chroma, SS and CODcr in the bleaching wastewater.
