Recently, at a press conference held by the China Meteorological Administration, the 2021 China Wind and Solar Resources Annual Bulletin (hereinafter referred to as the Bulletin) was officially released for the energy industry and the public
.
The "Communiqué" analyzes in detail the national wind and solar energy resources in 2021 and the changes in the average resource volume in the past 10 and 30 years, to help implement the country's deployment of climate change, promote the construction of an energy meteorological service system, and facilitate the green and low-carbon transformation of energy
.
The "Communiqué" shows that in terms of wind energy resources, in 2021, the altitude of the western and northeastern parts of Northeast China, northern North China, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, northern and eastern Xinjiang, the northwestern part of Northwest China, most of Tibet, and the coastal areas of southeastern China will be 70 meters high.
Compared with the past 10 years (2011-2020), the national wind energy resources in 2021 will be normal and slightly larger, and the annual average wind speed at a height of 10 meters will be higher 0.
18% higher
.
In terms of solar energy resources, in 2021, there will be large regional differences in solar energy resources across the country.
The total horizontal radiation in the western region is larger than that in the central and eastern regions, the northern region is lower than normal, and the southern region is higher
.
The national average annual horizontal surface irradiation amount is about 1493.
4 kWh/m2, which is 1.
69% lower than that in the past 30 years (1991-2020); Square meters, 1.
11% lower than the last 30 years
.
"The Bulletin will help the energy industry to more accurately grasp the resource status, and provide decision support for the development and utilization of wind and solar energy and the evaluation of industry power generation benefits
.
" Yao Jinfeng, director of the Wind Energy and Solar Energy Center of the Public Meteorological Service Center of the China Meteorological Administration, said that the Bulletin is also beneficial to the society.
The public will increase their understanding of China's climate resources and increase their awareness of energy conservation and emission reduction.
It is believed that with the vigorous promotion of distributed photovoltaics, the public's demand for related information will increase
.
In the next step, the meteorological department will continue to carry out the action to improve the meteorological business capacity of wind energy and solar energy resources, and systematically promote the annual monitoring and evaluation of China's wind energy and solar energy resources on the monthly, seasonal and annual scales
