On September 4, the foundation stone laying ceremony of PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical Changqing Ethane-to-Ethylene Project was held in Yuheng Industrial Zone, Yulin, Shaanxi Provin.

This is the first ethane-to-ethylene plant in China that has independent intellectual property rights and is included in the national demonstration proje.

The project is expected to be mechanically completed by the end of 2020, and will be commissioned in June 202 After completion, it will improve the utilization efficiency of natural gas resources and the competitiveness of ethylene products, drive the extension of the ethylene industry chain in Yuheng Industrial Park, and promote the development of the high-end fine chemical industry in the pa.
