PetroChina recently announced that China’s largest gas storage, Hutubi Gas Storage in Xinjiang Oilfield, has begun supplying gas to the West-East Gas Pipeline Network

The Hutubi gas storage started gas injection in March this year, and completed the gas injection production task at the end of September.

As the largest natural gas storage in China, Hutubi Gas Storage is the first large-scale gas storage on the second line of the West-East Gas Pipeline, which has the dual functions of seasonal peak shaving and emergency storage
