The East China Petroleum Bureau stated that the two parties will actively implement Sinopec's 2050 carbon neutral and net zero emission targets, and jointly promote strategic cooperation in carbon capture, utilization and storage.

In the future, under the framework agreement, the East China Petroleum Bureau will sincerely cooperate, promote each other, and cooperate closely to provide better support and services for Nanhua Company, and jointly build the "East China-Nanhua" CCUS strategic cooperation brand, and strive to build a domestic advanced The CCUS demonstration project realizes a successful model of CCUS that is energy-saving, environmentally friendly, economical, reproducible, and extendable.

Nanhua Company stated that the two parties will focus on the "dual carbon" goal, seize historical opportunities, further deepen cooperation, give full play to the technological and resource advantages of both parties, seek green development together, build a million-ton-level CCUS demonstration base, and jointly draw carbon neutrality.
