It is understood that from 2016, Nanjing Lishui District will release 200 new energy pure electric taxis
in batches.
It adopts step-by-step, batch-by-batch, appropriate quantity and timely delivery: 60 vehicles will be released at the beginning of the year, 40 vehicles will be gradually launched in the same year, and 50 vehicles will be released each year in 2017 and 2018 to meet the market demand
in the next 5 to 8 years.
Since the launch of pure electric taxis in Lishui District of Nanjing in 2002, there are currently 3 rental enterprises (Volkswagen, Runli, and Transportation), adopting a contract operation system, with a total of 149 taxis
.
With the rapid social and economic development and the continuous expansion of the city scale, as well as the ban on "three small cars", the public's demand for convenient and timely travel by taxi is increasing, the problem of "difficulty in fighting" is gradually prominent, the operation order continues to improve, business behavior urgently needs to be standardized, and rental transportation capacity needs to be increased
