National Energy Administration: 74,803MW of new certified wind and solar installed capacity will be added in 2021

The National Energy Administration recently released the annual analysis report (2022) on power business qualification management

The total installed capacity of licensed power generation enterprises is 2,067,237MW, of which enterprises with more than 1,000MW account for 4% of the total number of licensed power generation enterprises, and the installed capacity accounts for 49% of the total installed capacity, which is equivalent to 2020

From the perspective of the distribution of license levels of enterprises undertaking installation (repair and trial) of power facilities, the fourth-level enterprises accounted for the largest proportion, reaching 60%

As of the end of 2021, there are 31,806MW of overdue units, 15,627MW of thermal power, 15,631MW of hydropower, 350MW of nuclear power, and 198MW of new energy

In 2021, the agencies of the National Energy Administration will cancel the license of 177 units that have reached the design life, involving a capacity of 1601.
