Recently, the Electric Corporation of Japan has signed a contract
to build the BtoBE submarine cable connecting Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States.

The BtoBE submarine cable uses multiple pairs of fibers to enable high-capacity data transmission across the Pacific Ocean with round-trip latency of less than 130 milliseconds
.
The BtoBE submarine cable will further strengthen and facilitate much-needed communications network expansion
between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area, the San Francisco Bay Area and Singapore.

for this record-breaking submarine cable system.
The BtoBE submarine cable landed at three locations across the Pacific Ocean, and each pair could carry at least 18Tbs of capacity
