According to Zhang Delong, director of the sulfur recovery workshop of the plant, since the 35,000-ton/year acid plant was put into use in 2019, the workshop has begun to tackle the bottleneck problem of the internal temperature of the high-temperature flue gas filter being lower than the design value
The high-temperature flue gas filter is a proprietary equipment of the acid plant.
"The high-temperature flue gas filter mainly filters the high-temperature process gas generated by the combustion of hydrogen sulfide and the cracking of the waste acid in the waste acid incinerator.
In fact, since the start of the acid plant in early 2019, the actual operating temperature of the five high-temperature flue gas filters has been lower than 500°C
In April 2019, the temperature of the S-7140 high-temperature flue gas filter was 460℃, which was the lowest temperature among the five filters
Li Changen, deputy director of equipment in the workshop, said that titanium nano polymer coatings have the characteristics of low thermal conductivity, high emissivity, and high reflectivity.
In addition, they used the surface temperature calculation method when calculating the heat loss of the outer surface of the equipment insulation.
The successful application of titanium nano polymer coatings in the insulation structure of high-temperature flue gas filters in acid plants provides a new way for Daqing Petrochemical Company to tap the potential and increase efficiency, and provides a reference for the adoption and transformation of similar high-temperature equipment insulation structures.
