Sinochem News Network News on October 12th, CATL issued an announcement that its holding subsidiary Guangdong Bangpu and its holding subsidiaries will invest in the construction of Bangpu Integrated Battery Material Industrial Park in Tianjiahe Area, Yaojiagang Chemical Park, Yichang City, Hubei Province.

According to the announcement, the construction period of the project is 6 years (2022-2027), and the main construction includes waste battery material recycling, lithium iron phosphate and ternary precursors, lithium iron phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide and ternary cathode materials, graphite, phosphoric acid, etc.

Ningde Times stated that the implementation of the project is conducive to further improving the company's strategic layout in the lithium battery new energy industry, giving play to the advantages of industrial synergy, ensuring the company's battery material supply, and advancing the company's goal of full life cycle management of decommissioned power batteries.
