Oil Standards Commission: Need to speed up the implementation of green and low-carbon standardization and upgrading projects

China Petroleum Network News (Reporter Wang Fang) On March 19, at the 2021 annual meeting of the National Petroleum and Natural Gas Standardization Technical Committee and the Petroleum Industry Standardization Technical Committee (referred to as the Oil Standards Committee), the participating members proposed to implement the green and low-carbon standardization improvement project It is urgent to accelerate the improvement of independent innovation capabilities and industry technology standards leading capabilities, and promote the high-quality development of the petroleum industry with comprehensive standardization.

During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the Petroleum Standards Commission comprehensively upgraded the strategic positioning of standardization work, and achieved major breakthroughs in the construction of the standard system.

The members of the meeting believed that unconventional and deep-seated areas will become the main battlefield for future production.

Focusing on how to give full play to the basic and strategic role of standardization, the Petroleum Standards Commission will do a good job in six aspects.

The Oil Standards Committee is composed of 61 committee members from petroleum companies and institutions including PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC and Sinochem.
