Sinopec News Network reported on April 20 that the “Development and Application of Key Equipment for Safe and High-Efficiency Drilling of Ultra-Deep Wells” project of Petrochemical Machinery passed the technical achievement appraisal of Sinopec Corporation.

During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, petrochemical machinery focuses on deep oil and gas exploration and development, conforms to the development direction of mechanization, automation, informatization, and intelligence of oil and gas equipment, strengthens "production, study, research and application" cooperation, and launches scientific and technological research.

Up to now, Petrochemical Machinery has developed four series of characteristic drilling rigs, including quick-moving truck-mounted drilling rigs, quick-moving quick-installing BE drilling rigs, heavy-duty integral moving drilling rigs, and high-clearance and ultra-deep well drilling rigs.
