Solvay's new HMW HALS plant opens
Solvay Technology Solutions Global Business Unit today announced that Solvay's new plant for high molecular weight (HMW) hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) is now in operation
.

The HALS core products now produced at the plant are the basis for the
CYNERGY^® and CYXTRA^® polymer additive product range.
Both series enable Solvay customers to transform common polyolefin plastics into advanced polymers for a range of professional applications
, including building and construction, agricultural films, and consumer and industrial.
