According to Ansense Moscow’s June 16 news, MRC’s DataScope report stated that from January to May this year , the import volume of polypropylene ( PP ) in Russia increased by 15% year-on-year to 85,300 tons.

Although Russia's overall PP import volume increased year-on-year from January to May, it declined year-on-year in May.
From January to May this year, Russia imported 34,000 tons of homopolymer PP, compared to only 25,300 tons in the same period last year.
Russia imported 23,600 tons of PP block copolymers from January to May, compared with 21,300 tons in the same period last year.
From January to May, Russia’s PP random copolymer imports were 14,600 tons, compared with 13,100 tons in the same period last year.
From January to May, Russia's imports of other propylene polymers were 13,100 tons, compared with 14,400 tons in the same period last year.
