[Plastic] Shaanxi Province issued detailed implementation rules for the quality supervision and spot check of polyethylene (PE) pipe products

With the continuous development of modern science and technology, new technologies, new materials, and new processes continue to emerge.

Among them, PE pipe is a widely used pipe among plastic pipes, which can be mainly used in water supply, gas, rural water conservancy irrigation, marine aquaculture cages, communications, drainage, and ground source heat pumps.

But it is precisely because its performance depends on the quality of raw materials, processing equipment and processing technology control.

In order to strengthen market management standards and control the quality of PE pipe products, the Shaanxi Provincial Market Supervision Administration recently announced the implementation rules for product quality supervision and spot checks in the first half of 2020.

The "Detailed Rules" stipulate that the products to be sold of the sampled producers shall be selected by random sampling, and the polyethylene (PE) pipe products shall be inspected.

After inspection, all the individual items of the inspection items are judged to be qualified, and the product under spot check is judged to be qualified; if any one or more of the inspection items are unqualified, it is judged to be unqualified.
