[Plastic] Thailand's exports of plastic packaging products increased by 19% during the epidemic

According to the Director of International Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, the demand for gel and alcohol disinfectant sprays is increasing rapidly to prevent the spread of the new crown virus, and the demand for plastic packaging products is also increasing.

Statistics show that the total export volume of Thailand's plastic packaging products in the first two months of 2020 is approximately US$450 billion, an increase of 19% over the same period.

In addition, in the first two months of 2020, the export of pump bottles increased by 38% in the same period; the export of plastic caps increased by 25% in the same period, and the export volume accounted for about 47% of all plastic packaging exports; the export of spray bottles increased by 13% in the same period, and the export volume accounted for about 6% of all plastic packaging exports.
