Due to tight supply and rising raw material prices, spot prices of methyl methacrylate ( MMA ) in Asia have stabilized for 8 consecutive weeks and have risen.

Asian MMA

Due to recent production cuts and shutdowns for overhauls, the MMA spot supply in the region is tight, and bulk spot supplies are insufficient.

In the week of September 11, affected by tight supply and strong acetone prices, China’s MMA price rose by an average of RMB 950/ton on a week-on-week basis, which boosted market sentiment in Asia.
