Poly-N-dimethylaminomethacrylamide
[Preparation method] Poly-N-dimethylaminomethacrylamide is mainly prepared by the Mannich reaction method using the active group monoamido group on polyacrylamide
(1) Use monomer aqueous solution polymerization to prepare polyacrylamide solution, and then Mannich reaction.
(2) Prepare polyacrylamide emulsion by inverse microemulsion polymerization, and then Mannich reaction
In a four-necked flask equipped with a stirrer, a thermometer and a dropping funnel, add a certain amount of oil phase, emulsifier, water, additives and acrylamide, pass high-purity nitrogen, and add initiator to carry out the polymerization reaction to obtain a light yellow color.

(3) Direct Mannich reaction with polyacrylamide
Using polyacrylamide, formaldehyde, dimethylamine, and deionized water with a relative molecular mass of more than 5 million as raw materials, using persulfate as a catalyst, dissolve polyacrylamide in water, and adjust the pH to 8-9 with caustic alkali.
