[Molecular formula] H 2 N-NH 2 ·H 2 O
[Physical and chemical properties] Hydrazine hydrate is also called hydrazine hydrate
The hydrazine hydrate liquid exists in the form of dimer, miscible with water, insoluble in ether and chloroform , miscible in water, and miscible in ethanol
[Preparation]
(1) Raschig method
The hydrazine method invented by Raschig was first used in industrial production in 1906
Overall response:
2NH 3 +NaOCl→N 2 H 4 +NaCl+H 2 O
Do it in two steps:
NH 3 +NaOCl→NH 2 Cl+NaOH
NH 2 Cl+NH 3 +NaOH→N 2 H 4 +NaCl+H 2 O
side effects:
N 2 H 4 +2NH 2 C1→+2NH 4 Cl+N 2
The process flow is shown in Figure 12-1
Figure 12-1 Raschig process production process of hydrazine hydrate
Chloramine is formed during the reaction process, so it is also called the chloramine method
The hydrazine hydrate obtained by this method is a 1% to 2% dilute aqueous solution, and the total synthesis rate is about 67%
