    Production process

    Put 485kg of p-nitrotoluene into the chlorination reactor, heat to 70°C, and add 16kg of ferric chloride
    .


    Naturally cool down to 60°C and let chlorine gas flow, and control the temperature around 60°C


    In the oxidation reactor, put 1800L water and 60kg sodium hydroxide, add 80kg 2-chloro-4-nitrotoluene under stirring, heat to reflux, and add 170kg potassium permanganate in batches
    .


    After the addition, reflux for 50 minutes and let cool
