    Production process

    1) Methylation

    Add 500kg water and 226L 40% liquid caustic soda into the reaction pot, add 66kg hydroquinone under stirring, control the temperature below 35℃, and stir for 15min
    .


    Press the hydroquinone sodium salt solution into the autoclave, and add 105 kg of methyl chloride


    2) Nitrification

    Add 505kg of water into the glass-lined reactor, add 345kg of terephthalic ether with stirring, heat to 52°C, stir for 30min to melt
    .


    Add 259kg of concentrated nitric acid within 4.


    3) Restore

    Add 183 kg of o-nitro-terephthalate and 200 kg of water into the reduction pot and heat to 90°C
    .
