Prysmian Group, a global manufacturer of energy and communications cables, has received an order for fire-resistant cables from Atlantis Royal Dubai for a total of more than 400 km
.
According to reports, Prysmian will provide the resort with FPPLUS and FP400 fire-resistant cables, which are characterized by extending fire survival, allowing guests longer time to evacuate and ensuring better operating conditions
for emergency teams.
In addition, fire-resistant cables guarantee the operation of the power supply, the fire alarm system and the operation of
the emergency system during the fire.
Depending on the order requirements, Prysmian will deliver the required cables
in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
