PureCycle and Mitsui & Co. to build a new "PP complete cycle" plant in Japan

Recently, PureCycle has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global investment company Mitsui & Ltd.
to develop and operate a recycling facility in Japan dedicated to converting PP waste into ultra-pure recycled polypropylene

Mitsui hopes the plant will help it reduce plastic waste and develop a circular economy for Japan's PP
.

Mitsui & Co.
plans to use plastic waste as a raw material to make recycled PP resin from plastic waste, and then use the resin to make new consumer goods, which will then be recycled
.
PureCycle is building a recycling facility in Ohio and has pre-sold more than 20 years of production from the facility
.
The company also recently announced the construction of another factory in Augusta, Georgia
.
