As of June 22, Qilu Petrochemical’s chlor-alkali plant used the new dry ice technology to clean the air cooler for the first time in half a month.
In the chlor-alkali plant, multiple air coolers are distributed in each unit area.
In order to improve the heat exchange effect, the chlor-alkali plant went out to investigate the advanced cleaning technology.
Because it is the first time that the new dry ice technology is used to clean the air cooler, there is no ready-made experience for reference.
On May 28, they stopped the power supply of the first air-cooler fan.
Subsequently, according to the production situation, they took turns to clean the remaining air coolers.
After the air cooler was cleaned up and put into use, the workshop tracked the operating status of the air cooler.
Song Kaifeng, director of the vinyl chloride workshop of the Chlor-Alkali Plant, introduced that the application of new technology can remove the stubborn fouling on the pipe wall, ensure the heat exchange effect, and provide a reliable guarantee for high-temperature and high-load production in summer
