The ranking spans 5 academic fields and 51 disciplines, and provides an independent comparative analysis of the performance of more than 15,200 university disciplines around the world
In the QS World University Rankings by Subject, a total of 93 colleges and universities in mainland China are on the list, ranking third in the world in terms of number, second only to the United States and the United Kingdom, and 10 of them are on the list for the first time

The number of courses listed in mainland Chinese universities has hit a record high, with a total of 771 subjects on the list
A total of 4 disciplines in mainland China have entered the top 10 in the world, including 3 from Tsinghua University and 1 from China Agricultural University

100 disciplines of 22 mainland Chinese universities entered the top 50 in the world

Among them, 33 are from Peking University, 27 from Tsinghua University, 6 from Shanghai Jiaotong University, 5 from Zhejiang University and 5 from Fudan University respectively, with the best grades
