"Research on the Policy of Coal Mining Subsidence Area" received a letter of appreciation from the National Development and Reform Commission

Recently, the Environmental Monitoring Institute of the China Geological Survey received a letter
of appreciation from the Department of Revitalization of Old Industrial Bases in Northeast China and other parts of the National Development and Reform Commission.
The letter said that from 2015 to 2016, entrusted by the Department of Revitalization of Old Industrial Bases in Northeast China and Other Areas of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Environmental Monitoring Institute carried out the project task of "Research on Comprehensive Treatment Policy for Coal Mining Subsidence Areas", and the relevant reports completed provided important technical support and decision-making basis
for the research and formulation of the "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Accelerating the Comprehensive Management of Coal Mining Subsidence Areas".

China's coal mining subsidence areas are widely distributed, numerous, diverse and complex, and the comprehensive treatment of coal mining subsidence areas involves many fields, and the theoretical research foundation is relatively weak
.
Based on the results of the national mine geological environment survey conducted by the China Geological Survey over the years, the Environmental Monitoring Institute of the China Geological Survey has conducted a large number of investigations on the competent departments of land and resources and geological surveys in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and completed the report on the results of the "Research on Comprehensive Treatment Policy of Coal Mining Subsidence Area" in April 2016
.

The report mainly includes six parts: research background, general situation of coal mining collapse in China, coal mining collapse prevention and control, coal mining collapse control policy combing, and existing problems, countermeasures and suggestions for coal mining collapse control, summarizes the causes, hazards, characteristics and evolution of mining collapse areas in different regions of China, sorts out and analyzes the policies and measures issued by the central and local governments at all levels for the comprehensive treatment of coal mining subsidence areas, and evaluates the results and existing problems of various policies.
The study puts forward systematic policy suggestions
for promoting the comprehensive management of coal mining subsidence areas in China.

To this end, the Department of Revitalization of Northeast and Other Old Industrial Bases of the National Development and Reform Commission expressed its gratitude to the Environmental Monitoring Institute of the China Geological Survey for its
