Recently, Chinese photovoltaic panel manufacturer Risen Energy announced that it has signed a letter of authorization with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance
a 63MW photovoltaic project in Kazakhstan.

Back on May 10, 2018, during the 27th EBRD Annual Meeting held in Jordan, Risen Energy and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed a PV
    project mandate.

Construction of the PV project will begin in September and is scheduled for completion
    in June 2019.
The average annual power generation is expected to reach 8,719 MWh
    after the start of construction.

Earlier this year, the EBRD and Risen Energy signed another mandate to provide project financing for Risen Energy's 40 MW solar project, also located in Kazakhstan
    .
It is understood that Risen Energy is the first Chinese photovoltaic company
to build solar power projects in the country.
