    Moscow report on December 17 According to MRC's DataScope report, Russia's total imports of general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) and high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) in the first 11 months of 2019 increased by 11% year-on-year to 44,700 tons

    Meanwhile, imports of GPPS and HIPS to the Russian market fell by 40% in November to a total of 3,600 tonnes, compared to 6,000 tonnes in November 2018

    In January-November 2019, Russian GPPS imports increased by 25% year-on-year to 25,600 tons, while HIPS imports fell for the third consecutive month

    European materials from Styrolution, Versalis and Trinseo accounted for about 90% of HIPS shipments and 61% of GPPS shipments
