SABIC cooperates with Chinese and Mexican enterprises to promote innovative packaging films

On November 29, SABIC announced that it has partnered with plastic packaging equipment manufacturer Guangdong Jinming Precision Machinery Co.

and flexible packaging manufacturer Bolsas de los Altos signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a supply chain partnership to promote innovative flexible packaging film solutions

SABIC said the partnership will further strengthen SABIC's position
as a supplier of polyethylene resins with local production capacity in the Americas.
Waleed, Vice President of Polymer Technology and Innovation at SABIC Al-Shalfan said: "The three companies will work together to share their expertise in polymer technology and processing processes to ensure that the development of various application areas is fully in line with current and future market trends

Al-Shalfan said that the trend of sustainability will continue to drive the transformation
of the flexible packaging industry.
As a result, existing packaging film structures need to be upgraded accordingly to meet the latest circular economy demands

SABIC's deep material expertise is perfectly combined with Jinming Seiki's excellent equipment manufacturing capabilities and Bolsas' outstanding processing capabilities to meet the challenge

The collaboration will provide an efficient channel for performance testing and validation of SABIC's polyolefin resin products, starting
with the installation of multi-layer coextrusion processing equipment provided by Jinming Seiki at Bolsas' Mexican plant.
