Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for
    2.
5GW of hybrid wind and solar projects (wind-solar complementary projects).
It is understood that the project is used to connect to the Interstate Transmission System (ISTS).

The minimum capacity for a single tender for the project is 200MW and the maximum capacity is 500MW.

The minimum project size for a single site is 50MW.

The winning bidder will sign a 25-year power purchase agreement with SECI with a cap price fixed at Rs 2.
    93/kWh (about $0.
    043).

Even before the announcement of the tender project, India had already introduced policies
related to wind and solar complementary projects.
The plan was praised by Bridge to India because it did not believe that existing wind-solar complementary projects would find a viable way
    to switch to hybrid technology.
