    This standard specifies the requirements for the control, monitoring and supervision and management of air pollutant emissions from the foundry industry.
    Water pollutants, malodorous pollutants, and environmental noise discharged by foundry industry enterprises or production facilities shall be subject to the corresponding national pollutant discharge standards, and the identification, treatment and disposal of solid waste generated shall be subject to the corresponding national solid waste pollution control standards.

     

    Starting from January 1, 2021, for newly-built enterprises, and for existing enterprises from July 1, 2023, their air pollutant emission control shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of this standard, and the "Industrial Furnace Air Pollutant Emission Standard" will no longer be implemented ( GB 9078-1996), "Comprehensive Emission Standard of Air Pollutants" (GB 16297-1996).
    Localities can implement this standard in advance with the approval of the provincial people's government according to local environmental protection needs and economic and technical conditions.

     

    This standard is the basic requirement for the control of air pollutant emissions in the foundry industry.
    Provincial people's governments may formulate local pollutant discharge standards for items that are not specified in this standard; for items that have been specified in this standard, they may formulate local pollutant discharge standards that are stricter than this standard.

     

    This standard is *issued.
    This standard applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from existing foundry industrial enterprises or production facilities, as well as the environmental impact assessment of foundry industry construction projects, environmental protection facility design, environmental protection acceptance after completion, the issuance of pollutant discharge permits and air pollution after they are put into production Emissions management.
