Shale gas exploration and development in Hongxing area of ​​Jianghan Oilfield accelerates

China Petrochemical News Network reported on April 17, the first marine shale gas pre-exploration well Hongye 1HF well deployed by Jianghan Oilfield in the Hongxing area, with steady production for 114 consecutive days, with a cumulative production of more than 10 million cubic meters.

Gas-bearing strata in multiple layers in the Hongxing area, and 12 sets of gas-bearing strata including Carboniferous and Changxing Formation have been discovered through exploration.

In order to further evaluate the resource potential of the Red Star area and consolidate the foundation for increasing reserves and production of natural gas, the First Gas Production Plant of Jianghan Oilfield carried out the work idea of ​​“overall deployment, step-by-step implementation, layered evaluation, test first, and large-scale production” in Wujiaping, Red Star area Group shale gas is deployed as a whole.

On this basis, Jianghan Oilfield has actively implemented a new position for increasing reserves and production.
