According to the requirements of the opinions, Shandong Liaocheng City Bus Group actively operated, and from May to June 2010, it successively purchased 30 Zhongtong gasoline-electric hybrid new energy buses and put them into the demonstration and promotion operation of the main roads in the urban area; From 2011 to 2013, according to the work report of the municipal government and the spirit of the instructions for accelerating the update of energy-saving and environmental protection public vehicles, 169 LNG energy-saving and environmental protection buses were successively updated; In 2014, Shandong Liaocheng City was selected as the second batch of national new energy vehicle promotion demonstration cities, and according to the work deployment of the municipal leading group for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles, the municipal public transport group updated and added 200 gas-electric hybrid new energy buses

On July 16, 2015, with the online operation of these 200 new energy buses, all yellow-label bus buses in the urban area will be withdrawn from the operation market, and the number of urban bus operating vehicles in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province will reach 650, and the coverage rate of energy-saving and environmental protection vehicles will reach 100%, of which 430 new energy buses, accounting for 66.
