Recently, the new generation of A-16 catalyst developed by the methylamine technical team of Sinopec Shanghai Research Institute of Petroleum Chemical Industry has won the order of 100,000 tons/year of new methanol amination unit from Jiujiang Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co.

The Shanghai Institute has many years of history in the research and development of methylamine catalysts, and series of catalysts such as A-6 have been widely used in domestic methylamine companies

In order to meet the needs of the industry, the methylamine technical team of Shanghai Institute of Technology has developed a new generation of A-16 methanol amination catalyst based on the construction of active centers and the control of side reactions.
