Shanghai Petrochemical carbon fiber material bar successfully applied

Recently, the carbon fiber composite rib independently developed and produced by the Shanghai Petrochemical Advanced Materials Innovation Research Institute has completed the formwork processing and concrete pouring, and has been successfully applied to the Shanghai Petrochemical seawall safety hidden danger control project

It is understood that the carbon fiber composite bars developed and produced by Shanghai Petrochemical are used as raw materials for construction, with light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and other properties.

In addition to the application in seawall engineering projects, Shanghai Petrochemical has produced more than 26,000 meters of carbon fiber composite bars of various specifications and models, which have been successfully applied to major livelihood projects such as the Chaotianmen Area Improvement Project on the Two Rivers and Four Banks in Chongqing and the Sichuan-Tibet Railway Slope Protection Project.

The successful application of carbon fiber composite bars in a number of civil engineering fields has further expanded the market application scenarios of Shanghai Petrochemical carbon fiber composite materials and provided technical support for the green and low-carbon development of the civil engineering industry
