    The photovoltaic device is built on the roof of the 220 kV power distribution room of the Shanghai Petrochemical Thermal Power Department, with an average annual power generation of about 400,000 kWh, which is mainly used for the daily operation of auxiliary electrical equipment of the Thermal Power Department


    According to reports, Shanghai Petrochemical’s pilot implementation of this photovoltaic project aims to learn from the successful application of new energy, open up the entire process of photovoltaic power generation installations, and cultivate a team of professional and technical personnel for the construction and operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power generation projects.


    It is understood that in order to actively respond to the national, Shanghai and Sinopec’s mid- and long-term goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, Shanghai Petrochemical has established a new energy promotion leading group to accelerate the progress of clean energy and green power generation, and intensify research on the use of new energy.


    Shanghai Petrochemical's first photovoltaic power station was successfully started up to the grid, which has played a very good demonstration effect.
