The team first started with the most typical bio-based and biodegradable plastic polylactic acid, and entered the field of bio-based and biodegradable plastic additives.

In response to the above problems, the team chose to find solutions from the perspective of additives, starting with polylactic acid-based special nucleating agents for polylactic acid, polymerized epoxy functional chain extenders, melt enhancers and anti-hydrolysis agents.

In addition, focusing on epoxy chain extenders that are compatible with PBAT and PLA blends, the team is exploring the transfer from the back-end modified chain extension to the front-end synthesis in-tank chain extension.

In terms of anti-hydrolysis agent carbodiimide, there are currently two products: monomeric carbodiimide Bio-SW100 and polymeric carbodiimide Bio-SW500.

As a scientific research unit, in addition to developing new products and solving key problems in the industry, Mr.

　　The team has now formed from structural design to synthesis research to physical and chemical characterization, and performance testing to engineering marketization.
