PDK oil field is located in the Atlantic waters of southwest Cameroon.
It is a high-porosity, medium-high-permeability loose sandstone reservoir.
The nature of the reservoir is similar to that of the Guantao Formation in the Shengli Offshore

The S1D layer has edge water, strong reservoir heterogeneity, fine stratum sand and high shale content
In this video conference, the technical personnel of the Shallow Sea Institute and the Sand Control Institute of Shengli Engineering Institute and the technicians of the Exploration Institute closely combined to analyze the sand production reasons of the three old wells in this layer from the perspective of geological engineering integration.
