    Recently, at the second station of Binnan Oil Production Plant, the "skid-mounted carbon dioxide flooding produced gas separation and purification technology" developed by the Surface Engineering Technology Center of Shengli Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute has achieved good results


    Carbon dioxide flooding enhanced oil recovery technology is an effective technology to store carbon dioxide on a large scale, realize flooding utilization, and reduce carbon emissions


    In view of the scattered distribution of carbon dioxide flooding blocks in Shengli Oilfield and the scattered gas produced, the research personnel of the Ground Engineering Technology Center started the project of the group company "Research on the Technology of Separation of Liquid Gas-liquid Separation and Corrosion Control of Carbon Dioxide Flooding in Shengli Oilfield" in 2017.


    The second station of Binnan Oil Production Plant is responsible for the crude oil processing of Binnan Square King and Chunliang Oil Production Plant.


    After separation and purification, the highest concentration of carbon dioxide reaches 97%, and the highest concentration of methane reaches 70%


    In the next step, Shengli Oilfield plans to implement large-scale carbon dioxide flooding.


    In addition, the development of shale oil in oil fields requires large-scale application of carbon dioxide fracturing.
