Shunfeng Energy sells Conway oil field to Eni

According to a report on the OE website on July 2, the oil and gas company Tailwind Energy (Tailwind Energy) said on Thursday that it has completed the sale of its Conwy oil field off the coast of the United Kingdom to the Italian oil giant Eni

The company stated that it has completed all divestments of all rights and interests in the Conway Oilfield, including decommissioning

Shunfeng owns 100% of Conway's operating shares as part of its acquisition of EOG UK Resources in 2018

Shunfeng did not disclose how much Eni paid for the acquisition of the oil field

Conway Oilfield is located in the Eastern Irish Sea and is exported to Douglas through an undersea pipeline

Conway was discovered in 2009 and developed through a non-permanent participation installation device (NPAI), including three platform production wells, water injection wells and one condensate injection well

Back in May of this year, when Shunfeng Group first announced the sale of the oil field to Eni Group, the company stated that the oil field “has a good safety and production record under the ownership of Shunfeng Group”, but the asset is more suitable for Egypt.
