Sinopec News Network reported in the first quarter that Sinopec’s ethylene output was 244,700 tons, an increase of 46,300 tons year-on-year; the processing volume of cracking raw materials was 796,000 tons, an increase of 104,900 tons year-on-year, both of which set the highest record since the plant was put into operation.
In the first quarter, the domestic economy gradually recovered, the demand for chemical products rose rapidly, and the market conditions were positive.
After the capacity expansion and transformation of the ethylene plant, measures such as increasing the processing volume of crude oil, merging cracked diesel into tail oil, often supplying each other at the first line, and increasing outsourcing, will flexibly increase production capacity around the market.
