Sinochem Xinnet News On August 5, Sinopec Shanxi Branch and Meijin Energy signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement
.
The two parties will cooperate in the field of hydrogen energy utilization, and strive to build 30 oil-hydrogen mixing stations in Shanxi Province by 2025, including 10 in Taiyuan and 20 oil-hydrogen mixing stations in Jinzhong, Changzhi and Daping cities.
According to the agreement, the two parties will give full play to their respective resource and technological advantages to develop hydrogen energy comprehensive utilization projects in the links of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen refueling, and hydrogen transportation.
Hydrogen station or oil-hydrogen mixing station is the direction of early cooperation, and it will provide supporting services for commercial logistics vehicles and hydrogen vehicle demonstration lines in public transportation systems
.
The cooperation project is based on the two parties' joint optimization of the newly acquired land and the existing gas stations and reserve plots of Sinopec Shanxi Branch, and in accordance with the principle of "mature, one development", multiple sites will be deployed in Shanxi Province
It is understood that Sinopec Shanxi Branch will accelerate the development of new energy business with hydrogen energy as the core, and promote the rapid development of the entire hydrogen energy industry chain.
