Solvay has announced that it has commercialized a new high-performance nylon resin containing recycled content

Solvay says these materials are ideal for brand owners and manufacturers looking to increase the recycled content in their products without compromising dimensional stability, high stiffness, impact resistance and processability

It is understood that the recycled content of Omnix ReCycle saves resources and has a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to virgin high-performance nylon

"As Solvay's first recycled high-performance nylon reinforced with 50% glass fiber, the Omnix ReCycle is a real breakthrough in the home appliance nylon market," said Claire Guerrero, Solvay's Global Marketing Manager
