Recently, BASF, Solvay and Domo Chemicals have reached an agreement, agreeing that Domo Chemicals will acquire Solvay's European polyamide 66 busine.

BASF intends to acquire Solvay's eight production sites in Germany, France, China, India, South Korea, Brazil and Mexi.

The purchase price paid by BASF for the transaction is expected to be EUR 3 billion on a cash- and debt-free bas.

The acquisition will give BASF better access to important growth markets in Asia and South America and foster close cooperation with local custome.
